The Path to Holistic Well-being
Ayurveda is known as the sister of Yoga, and translates to the ‘Science of Life.‘ Based on the five elements of nature it teaches us how to bring ourselves, or to keep ourselves, in balance in order to achieve optimal health and avoid illness.
Faye first discovered Ayurveda during her personal journey into Yoga. She was immediately hooked on the personal practises, remedies and life-changing benefits she was discovering with just a few simple lifestyle changes, along with a new sense of personal commitment to herself.
Feeling a natural call to share the knowledge with others, she also trained as an Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher & Massage Therapist, along with taking several lectures with Ayurvedic doctors in India. Faye has a genuine passion to pass on the lifestyle knowledge of Ayurveda, bringing an awareness into how specific daily habits can change your life physically, mentally and emotionally.
Ayurveda Massage & Lifestyle Consultation
Ayurveda Abhyanga oil massage is one of the main practises of an Ayurvedic lifestyle, where warm oil is applied to the entire body from head to feet. This relaxing therapy provides a huge benefit into bringing balance and rejuvenation to the body, mind & soul.
Abhyanga has been used for thousands of years with many people feeling the benefits including; reduced stress, lowered blood pressure, improved skin, reduced muscle stiffness, increased energy and alertness, increased physical strength, age-delaying benefits and can promote lymphatic drainage.
It’s also possible to enjoy abhyanga as a self-massage. This lets you enjoy the massage whenever it’s convenient for you. During abhyanga, you’ll need to wear minimal clothing or wrap a towel around your body. Take a look at Faye’s Ayurveda abhyanga self-massage blog by following the tab to Blog at the top of this page.
